Training Legends Code of Conduct

For Players, Coaches, and Fans of Youth Travel Baseball Events

At Training Legends, we believe that youth baseball should be a fun, educational, and respectful environment where players, coaches, and fans can grow and develop in the spirit of sportsmanship. To foster a positive and supportive atmosphere at all our events, we have established the following Code of Conduct for all participants—players, coaches, and fans. We expect everyone to adhere to these standards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved.

1. Player Conduct
As a player in a Training Legends event, you are expected to:
* Play with integrity: Always give your best effort, respect the game, your teammates, your opponents, and the officials.
* Be a good teammate: Support your teammates on and off the field. Celebrate success together and work through challenges as a team.
* Respect the game: Follow the rules, display good sportsmanship, and compete fairly.
* Demonstrate positive attitude: Maintain a respectful attitude toward coaches, officials, and opponents, regardless of the outcome of the game.
* Take responsibility: Accept mistakes with grace and use them as opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Maintain self-control: Handle frustration or disappointment calmly, without resorting to negative behavior, such as arguing with officials or taunting opponents.
* Be respectful off the field: Your behavior off the field should reflect the values of respect and responsibility that you demonstrate on the field.
2. Coach Conduct
As a coach in a Training Legends event, you are responsible for:
* Being a role model: Display professionalism, integrity, and sportsmanship at all times, both on and off the field.
* Fostering a positive environment: Promote teamwork, development, and fun while helping players improve their skills.
* Respecting officials: Always demonstrate respect for umpires and referees. Disagreements should be handled with professionalism and respect for the authority of the officials.
* Respecting the opponent: Teach your players to respect the opposition, regardless of the score or outcome. Encourage good sportsmanship and discourage any unsportsmanlike behavior.
* Creating a safe environment: Ensure that all players are safe, both physically and emotionally, during practices, games, and team activities.
* Promoting inclusivity: Treat all players with respect, dignity, and fairness, and encourage diversity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
* Parent and player communication: Foster open and respectful communication with parents and players. Address concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
3. Fan Conduct
As a fan of a Training Legends event, you are expected to:
* Support all players: Cheer for all players, not just those on your team. Avoid negative comments or disruptive behavior toward opposing players, coaches, or officials.
* Respect the game: Recognize the hard work of both teams and respect the efforts of the athletes, coaches, and officials.
* Model sportsmanship: Set a positive example by demonstrating good sportsmanship at all times. Your behavior can influence the experience of players, coaches, and other fans.
* Respect officials: Understand that officials are integral to the game and should be treated with respect. Do not question or criticize their decisions publicly.
* Create a positive atmosphere: Keep the environment supportive, respectful, and fun for everyone. Encourage good behavior and sportsmanship from all fans.
* Adhere to event rules: Follow all guidelines set by Training Legends for behavior, safety, and participation at games and events.
4. General Expectations
* Zero tolerance for violence or discrimination: Any physical violence, discriminatory behavior, or hate speech directed at players, coaches, officials, or fans will not be tolerated. Violators will be immediately removed from the event and may face additional consequences.
* Substance abuse: The use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products at or near Training Legends events is strictly prohibited.
* Compliance with event policies: All participants must adhere to the specific rules and regulations of the event they are attending, including those related to health and safety, equipment, and scheduling.

Consequences of Violating the Code of Conduct
Any individual—player, coach, or fan—who violates the Training Legends Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action. This could include:
* Verbal or written warnings
* Temporary or permanent removal from the event
* Suspension from future events or programs
* Expulsion from the league or organization
We are all responsible for creating a positive, supportive environment where players can thrive. By following the Training Legends Code of Conduct, we ensure that all participants—players, coaches, and fans—can enjoy a safe, fun, and competitive atmosphere in every game.
Thank you for your commitment to upholding the standards of Training Legends. Let’s make every game a positive experience for everyone involved!
