- Individuals who choose not to wear recommended protective equipment do so at their own risk.
- Teams are responsible for ensuring that all equipment is safe, properly fitted, and in good working condition prior to use during the tournament.
- Any damaged or unsafe equipment should be repaired or replaced before play.
The safety of players, coaches, and spectators is a top priority. All teams are expected to follow these safety guidelines at all times.
- No buckets, stools, equipment, or any other items may be placed outside the dugout while the ball is in play.
- All players, coaches, bat boys/girls, and team personnel must remain inside the dugout while the ball is in play, with the exception of the on-deck batter.
- The on-deck batter must remain in the designated warm-up circle and stay alert to all activity on the field to help prevent injury.
- Coaches are strongly encouraged to wear protective helmets whenever they are on the field during games.
