Team Creation, Fees and Refunds, Rain, and Results
The Training Legends Sanction Fee is an annual team affiliation fee that registers your team with Training Legends for the current season. This fee helps verify your team's roster, insurance, and organizational affiliation while allowing your team to participate in Training Legends events throughout all supported regions. It also supports the technology, scheduling, registration, and tournament management systems used to provide a high-quality tournament experience. Sanction fees are paid once per season per team and are non-refundable.
To participate in any Training Legends, LLC tournament, every team must provide proof of insurance before they will be approved to compete.

- Spectators pay admission upon entering the facility.

Team Gate Fee Events
For select tournaments, a Team Gate Fee is collected at the time of registration in lieu of charging spectators at the gate.
Team Gate Fee Refund – Individual Gate Collected at the Park
For tournaments where the Team Gate Fee is collected during registration, Training Legends will refund the applicable Team Gate Fee if a team is assigned to play at a facility that charges an Individual Gate Fee at the entrance.
- Refunds will be based on the location(s) where the team is scheduled to play.
- If a team plays all of its games at a facility collecting individual gate admission, the applicable Team Gate Fee will be refunded.
- If a team plays at multiple facilities, including one where an individual gate is charged, the refund will be prorated based on the number of days played at each location, when applicable.
- Refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the tournament using the original method of payment whenever possible.
This policy ensures that teams are not charged twice for spectator admission while allowing Training Legends to accommodate events played across multiple facilities with different gate fee structures.

Training Legends Weather & Rain Policy
Training Legends' primary goal is to play as much baseball as safely possible while providing timely communication regarding weather delays and field conditions. Decisions are made based on field playability, player safety, and the ability to complete the tournament.
Weather Decision Process
- Weather Monitoring
- Tournament staff continuously monitor weather forecasts before and during the event.
- Coaches will be notified when weather is expected to impact tournament play.
- Morning Field Evaluations
- If rain is expected, staff are on-site by 6:00 AM (or two hours before the first scheduled game).
- Tournament message boards are typically updated by 6:30 AM (or 90 minutes before the first game), though updates may occur later if conditions change.
- Communication
- Coaches should expect multiple updates throughout the day as weather conditions evolve.
- Official updates are posted on the tournament message board.
- Field-by-Field Decisions
- If one field is playable, games on that field will begin as scheduled.
- Fields that are unplayable may be delayed while maintenance crews work to prepare them.
- Not all parks or age divisions will necessarily be delayed at the same time.
- Schedule Adjustments
- Delays may result in shortened time limits or schedule modifications.
- Championship game time limits are determined by the Tournament Director based on weather, daylight, travel considerations, and park lighting restrictions.
Official Game Requirements
A game is considered official when it reaches:
- 5U–12U: 3 complete innings (or 2½ innings if the home team is ahead)
- 13U and older: 4 complete innings (or 3½ innings if the home team is ahead)
If an official game is interrupted by weather:
- There is a 45-minute weather delay window to resume play.
- If play cannot resume within 45 minutes, the game becomes final and official.
Bracket Play Weather Procedures
If weather forces cancellation during bracket play:
- If every team has not completed its first bracket game, final standings are determined by tournament seeding.
- If all teams have completed at least one bracket game, the highest remaining seeds determine championship placement.
Refunds & Credits
- Tournament credits and refunds are determined according to the official Credit, Refund & Weather Policy, including special provisions for weather-related cancellations and certain promotional events.
